I was born and raised in Alaska and every summer my grandparents would come up from Texas in their RV to visit and take me on fishing adventures in Alaska for weeks on end. My grandpa showed me what patience looked like and the many ways of fishing, but it was my grandma who taught me frugality, resourcefulness and space saving ways of living smaller and with less. I believe those summers acclimated me to inhabiting many more tiny and unique living arrangements.
Recently, my partner Toshi and I bought a camper van and I got inspired to start the Compact Lifestyle site I've been contemplating creating for so long. We've been deep diving into finding the perfect items to fit into our new little home and office on wheels. So it only made sense to collect the products I'm finding, do some item reviews and share the things I've bought and love. This website is a culmination of the many small spaces I've lived in, my previous experience as a retail "Home/Lifestyle" product buyer and my passion for great product design.
I'd like to invite you to explore and contemplate with me the Compact Lifestyle and what foldable, modular, multi-use, duel purpose, collapsable, space saving, etc... products are out there, that will fit our needs and the spaces we inhabit. I hope to inspire and help you find some new useful compact lifestyle items to get excited about too!
If you have questions, comments and/or suggestions, you can reach me through my blog posts. Thank you so much for visiting and come back often for new content.
Cheers,
Liza
